A Nation Of Gardeners Review

I was given the chance to review this book courtesy of Carlton books

It’s a fascinating insight of how the garden has evolved throughout the years. From the elegance of the Victorian gardens to the love of gnomes, to going mad over decking. I thought the book was very good and it covered the subjects very well, the illustrations were clear and worked well with the content of the book it was referring to. You could almost say it is a good reference book. It certainly gives you food for thought how gardening has changed over the years but one thing remains constant we all love our garden.

It covers a variety of subjects including having an allotment which now days are the equivalent to grow your own vegetables. It’s easy to see the impact gardening has had on life and how when one trend starts we seem to follow it, until the next one comes along. This book is perfect for any garden lover which lets face it most of us love our garden. We are as the book says a Nation of Gardeners
