Infantino Play Mat – so parent friendly

The Infantino Play mat is a new ingenious design as it is so parent friendly. The thing that makes it parent friendly is that you just open it up and its ready as the middle section just pops up as you open it. So no more trying to get piece A to piece B or fiddling around trying to tie pieces together.

Aside from this, the playmat itself is so colourful and eye-catching, we were sent a playmat with the unicorn on. Even though it was pink, my son loved the bright colours and was fascinated by the pictures of the mat. Underneath the mat in the middle are two feet that give added stability to the arch so that it can’t collapse or fall over. The instructions are connected to the mat which is a good idea as there is no need to hunt/keep instruction books they are there already.
The playmat is slightly padded so that the baby/child is not directly on the floor. The high contrast arch has 3 activity toys that encourages the baby to reach which helps promote muscle development. The best thing about this play mat it folds up easily after us and comes in his own bag suitable for storage and travel. You can also clean the mat by gently wiping it, with a damp cloth.

My baby is 11 months old has mobility problems so is unable to sit,so to encourage him to help develop his muscles ,he needs a lot of floor time, this playmat is ideal as it encourages and stimulates him to reach. He loves playing with this as he tries to grab the toys. When he needs tummy time he looks at the bright colours on the mat.

  1. This sounds great, don’t laugh but the bit that excited me the most was the “wipe clean” and “fold away for easy storage”. The mat we had for Kieran did neither and was a nightmare. Something like this would be fab for Taylor when he is a tad older.
